This workshop focuses on creating a transparent, performance-based evaluation system that eliminates subjective bias and supports equitable staff development. Participants will learn strategies for conducting objective evaluations rooted in measurable performance indicators, not demographics or personal judgments. Through interactive discussions and activities, the workshop will address methods for managing unconscious biases, providing continuous feedback, and developing individual performance plans that promote growth. Additionally, it will cover the importance of regular evaluator meetings to align standards and enhance consistency. Supervisors and managers will also learn how to establish and communicate merit-based standards to drive motivation and ensure merit increases are awarded fairly.
