Beyond Supervison
A practical guide for building emotionally safe, inclusive afterschool programs that support all learners
You're Invited to the Book Launch of Beyond Supervision
At Dignity of Children, we believe every child deserves to grow in an environment where they feel emotionally safe, valued, and empowered to reach their full potential.
Founded by Dr. Sonia M. Toledo, Dignity of Children is dedicated to equipping educators, youth development professionals, caregivers, and organizations with practical, research-informed strategies that strengthen executive function, foster resilience, and create inclusive environments where every child can thrive.
Through professional development, leadership training, coaching, and educational resources, Dr. Toledo and the Dignity of Children team partner with schools, after-school programs, nonprofits, and community organizations to transform the way adults support children every day.
The launch of Beyond Supervision is an extension of this mission. More than a celebration of a new book, this event is an opportunity to come together with professionals who are committed to creating emotionally safe spaces where young people can flourish.
As part of the evening, Dr. Sonia M. Toledo will share the inspiration behind Beyond Supervision, discuss practical strategies from the book, answer questions from attendees, and personally sign copies of the book.
We invite you to join us for an inspiring evening of learning, connection, and celebrationâand to become part of a growing movement dedicated to helping every child thrive.
