This curriculum is based on children’s books published by Ladderworks Publishing that tell stories of real world entrepreneurs. It will teach children teamwork, inclusivity, problem solving through collaboration, and the importance of courage, resilience and thinking differently. Children will learn how to work together when solving problems and acquire skills that will help them later in life – being productive in a team and using resources available to them to find optimal solutions.

Spiffy, the interplanetary journalist, visits different planets to report on how different aliens are solving problems to make their world a better place. Catch Spiffy’s adventures through these beautiful hardcover picture books published by our partner Ladderworks. These books are based on the UN sustainble development goals and are created by writers and illustrators from diverse sections of society.

All modules contain a career pathway component, which helps explore career options in various industries.

Youth will learn to use Microsoft PowerPoint, a program that empowers you to create clean slideshow presentations and intricate pitch decks.

Youth will learn to create and edit videos using various online and offline tools, adding music and record presentations and PSA as a group or as an individual.
